If you don’t know who I’m drawing Eric and myself as, I highly suggest you lose yourself in their art.
I think Penny Arcade is the reason I like to draw. I love how many feelings I can get from Gabe’s work. For instance, let’s take this funny jpeg. Even though it’s amazingly silly, you get this sort of honesty in the message from the style of the art, and the face Gabe makes both adds to the hilarity and the previously mentioned honesty.
Their ability to do more than one type of comic is also astounding to me. I mean, I kind of do that, but I feel that each different “series” I create is just part of something bigger. They have the ability to make these distinct, different enteties, and I am jealous of that ability.
Guess I’ll have to keep working on it.
You should, as a friend of mine would say, “totes” comment and join the forums. We could talk some Penny Arcade, if you’d like.
