Now, Mariah’s my homedawg, but if there’s one thing she can’t be trusted on it’s admitting that she is in pain. I’m sure she feels like she’s “not troubling us” with her problems, but in many cases it results in situations like this.
I didn’t have space to show it in the comic, but I actually spent a good 30 seconds beating her hand up to check if it was all right. She seemed fine, but to my delight I found out she had fractured it the following day, and thus felt pretty bad about my actions. (I guess I should have taken a hint when I noticed it was swollen, or that she would wince every time she thought I was looking away.)
Anyways, though, I’m back in school now, so it’s much more likely I’ll be able to hold a schedule. Until (hopefully) next week!
